My Week in Parliament 10/12/15

As part of my Ministerial brief this week, I will be continuing to participate in meetings about our Freedom of Information Commission - aiming to look at how we might extend FOI to include private companies in receipt of public money. More information about this will follow soon.   As well as this I will be dropping in on an event in Parliament with Microsoft and meeting with Doteveryone - a new organisation who aim to advance digital understanding and social wellbeing through their work.

This week will also see Cabinet office Questions, during which the Shadow Cabinet Office team will be holding the Government to account on recent issues within the Cabinet Office.

I will be visiting All Saints School for a Q&A with their student Climate Bloggers, who are passionate and committed about challenging global warming. I am really looking forward to answering their questions on these important issues.

Over the weekend I will be heading down to speak to Anston Labour Party and I will be appearing on the Sunday Politics and John Pienaar Show.
