During my time as an MP I’ve enjoyed working with Double Six Youth Club to help provide services for young people as they have done for over 50 years. I’ve helped support previous funding bids of theirs in the past, and now they could use your help again.

Double Six are hoping to improve their energy efficiency and save on fuel, so are looking to install several solar panels on their building. They’ve applied for funding under the M&S Energy Community Energy Fund, which provides £300,000 for community energy projects across the country.

For Double Six to qualify, they need to top the vote in South Yorkshire, and they’re currently sitting on a close second place. I’d urge everyone to get their votes in here – it takes no time at all and could really help out a valuable community youth club.
