The Sheffield CCG’s ongoing consultation on whether to close the Minor Injuries Unit at Royal Hallamshire Hospital is your chance to have your say. I believe there should be no closures until other solutions are in place and proven to work. Closing Minor Injuries would mean no provision for the South of Sheffield closer than Northern General – putting more pressure on patients and on services there.

While campaigning so far we’ve found strong opposition to these latest moves and it’s clear that most people don’t want to have to travel further for urgent care if these services disappear.
