Louise Haigh MP Fighting for Sheffield's future
A recent survey in the Daily Mail revealed public confidence in our police is at a low. 57% of people feel police have lost control of neighbourhoods, and a quarter don’t feel safe going out at night. The public have noticed the effects of eight years of Government cuts, and that’s why I asked Victoria Atkins when they were going to face up to their responsibility for cuts.
Incredibly, the Government continues to criticise Labour for not supporting their totally inadequate settlement, which didn’t give our police the support they need. It’s time they took responsibility for their actions.
