De Hood is helping young people to turn their lives around.

This past month, I was delighted to become a patron of De Hood boxing club in Manor Top. The club is a fantastic community charity, which is using boxing and fitness to tackle violent crime, drugs, and gangs.

De Hood is helping young people to turn their lives around but needs to raise £2.5 million for a new building. On Thursday 19 March, the club is holding a special community consultation day to give local people the chance to discuss their plans and get involved in the project.

The event will be held between 10am and 3pm, and then 5pm until 7pm at De Hood Boxing Centre, Old Prince Edwards School, Queen Mary Road, S2 1EE.
