I’m proud to have launched a new education programme that tells the story of the Good Friday Agreement, how it was achieved, and why it is as important today as it was in 1998.

The Good Friday Agreement is close to the hearts of all of us in Labour. But its place in our current political debate is very often not well understood. This new education programme for Labour Party members brings the story of the Good Friday Agreement to life through a four-part webinar series.

We held our first session this month, which was very well attended, and you can watch a recording of the webinar here. Our next webinar will take place on Thursday 18 February at 6pm and will cover the role of women, trade unionists and civil society in the peace process. Sign up here.
