The latest session in our Good Friday Agreement Education Programme focused on the important role of women, trade unionists, and civil society in the peace process. Those who took part in the discussion have collectively done so much to promote peace, women’s rights and social justice in Northern Ireland. If you missed the session you can watch a recording in the video above.
I am very proud of the education programme and the sessions we’ve held so far have been the most subscribed education and training events ever organised by the Labour Party. That goes to show the desire of Labour members to understand the history and legacy of the Good Friday Agreement.
Our next webinar will take place on Thursday 25 March at 6pm. We’ll hear directly from the ‘The Peace Generation’ about what the Good Friday Agreement means to a new generation. Sign up here.
