The most important part of my job is serving my constituents and my office and I work really hard to support people when they come to us with problems.

As you can imagine, the numbers of people coming to us in need is rising week on week.  In July alone I received 871 requests for help.

The top issues were Passport delays, housing repairs & maintenance, rehousing requests, pest control and Home Office enquiries relating to immigration.

I’ve also been inundated with emails on investment in Early Years, Climate Change, Boris Johnson, energy policy, Online Safety Bill and Covid.
