Cancer affects nearly all of us in one way or another. My thoughts are with those currently going through this difficult time. I also understand the lasting effects cancer can have on people following the trauma they have to face that can last months and even years.

As you may know the Macmillan Cancer charity play a vital role in supporting cancer patients and their families and I pay tribute to them for all the hard work that they do and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Unfortunately due to prior diary commitments I could not attend the coffee morning. However, I am a huge supporter of everything that Macmillan do for cancer and understand the help and support they provide for many families in the UK.
