Fighting for Sheffield's future
Help us improve Sheffield's buses
Too often our local buses are late or unreliable and services don’t seem to improve. Help me to map where Sheffield’s bus services are letting you down, and I’ll use it to demand much needed improvements.

Are you satisfied with Sheffield's bus services?
Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied
Is one route a particular problem? If so, which route?
What's the problem?
Something else (specify below)
Are there any routes that are not currently served by buses, that should be?
Are there any other issues you’ve experienced with Sheffield buses?
Would you favour a franchising bus system for Sheffield, like in London, which would create more public control over private bus companies?
In London, the franchising system means that Transport for London (accountable to the Mayor) specifies what bus services are to be provided. TfL decides the routes, timetables and fares. The services themselves are operated under contract by private companies through a competitive tendering process. In Sheffield and the rest of the country, it’s a free market meaning that private bus companies are free to run whatever services they like, the fares they will charge and the vehicles they will use.
