The unprecedented disruption caused by the Covid-19 outbreak will have left many people needing support to get groceries or supplies, or facing severe financial difficulties.

Sheffield Council has set up a dedicated phoneline for Covid-19 related concerns and enquiries. From 8:45am to 4:45pm, Monday to Friday, members of the public can call 0114 273 4567 to ask questions or get support.

The Council can help with:

  • collecting shopping or medication
  • emergency parcels of basic food and toiletries for anyone who urgently needs food within 24 hours and has no money to buy
  • support for anyone who is feeling isolated or needs extra help

You can also request help from the Council online here, and residents of Park and Arbourthorne can find local support here.

If you need further support, you can contact my office by telephone on 0114 250 8113 or by completing this form. You can also find mutual aid groups in your area here.

To find out which benefits you are entitled to, you can use this benefits calculator or call the charity Turn2us on 0808 802 2000 (Mon-Fri 9:00-17:30).
