The unprecedented disruption caused by the Covid-19 outbreak will have left many people needing support to get groceries or supplies, or facing severe financial difficulties.
Sheffield Council has set up a dedicated phoneline for Covid-19 related concerns and enquiries. From 8:45am to 4:45pm, Monday to Friday, members of the public can call 0114 273 4567 to ask questions or get support.
The Council can help with:
- collecting shopping or medication
- emergency parcels of basic food and toiletries for anyone who urgently needs food within 24 hours and has no money to buy
- support for anyone who is feeling isolated or needs extra help
