Last week I dropped in for a visit with a new self defence and martial arts group being set up in Gleadless Valley by VIBE, a women’s empowerment group for girls aged 12-19. With funding from the TARA they’re running new sessions for young women, after speaking to them through Reach South Sheffield and finding that many felt unsafe.
