As Vice Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on State Pension Inequality for Women, I’ve consistently spoken up for the WASPI women who’ve had their state pensions delayed. The Government’s unjust decision to deprive these women of the money that they deserve leaves them significantly out of pocket and vulnerable to financial hardship.

As you can see in the above video, I recently condemned a Tory Minister who made the ridiculous and outrageous suggestion that these women retrain as apprentices. Such suggestions demonstrate the Tory’s callous attitude towards the WASPI women and their very real concerns.

I will continue to hold Ministers account on this issue and speak up for the WASPI women who have been so badly let down by this Government.
