I share your interest in protecting and promoting the sector, particularly the fantastic pubs we have locally in Sheffield. Since becoming your MP in 2015 I have spoken several times in Parliament to call for more support, and in the last Parliament as was Vice-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Pubs.

I am pleased to inform you that I have written to the Chancellor of the Exchequer to call on him to extend the freeze in Beer Duty and review the combined impact of alcohol duties, business rates and VAT on pubs in the upcoming budget.
